Kate Maas, MPH, CHES Health Coach Team Leader

I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Virginia Wesleyan College and my Master's degree in Public Health at Old Dominion University where I focused on health promotion and education. I am a Certified Health Education Specialist. I work in the maternal and child healthcare field. In addition to health behaviors, healthy eating and physical activity, I have experience in prenatal and postpartum care education, infant, child and adolescent/teen health. I am also a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and work with parents and families to establish and incorporate effective parenting solutions at home.

I have always been interested in the health and wellness field and in leading a healthy lifestyle. I believe the health of the mind and the body go hand in hand. Our self-confidence, perceptions and culture in addition to our social, emotional and environmental factors play a role in how we achieve behavior change.

I apply theory, education and resources to my work. I want to encourage and empower my clients to make small steps that lead to either healthy lifestyle choices or positive thinking toward a healthier lifestyle. In addition to health coaching, I am also here for peer support. I have struggled with years of infertility while conceiving my three children. Having support and maintaining a healthy lifestyle helped me stay positive during a challenging time. I am especially interested in the topics of infertility, family planning and parenting. I enjoy working with all ages. I live in Virginia Beach with my husband and three young children and I love to spend time with my family and be outdoors!

I offer three pricing options:

  • Single Coaching Session $85

  • Unlimited monthly online support $19.99

  • 3-Month Intensive Coaching $329

I offer individualized and group sessions in Positive Discipline to help teach effective parenting solutions. I will customize pricing for each session based on your needs.
