Zoe Goranson, LCSW
I grew up in Virginia Beach graduating from Norfolk Academy, then going to Valparaiso University and later did my graduate work at Norfolk State University. My first career was as a Speech Therapist in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands where I lived for ten years. I moved back to Virginia Beach to raise my sons and changed careers, becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I have worked in community mental health, taught NSU Social Work Graduate School, and most recently have been a provider in private practice for many years in Virginia Beach. I value the therapeutic relationship that develops between therapist and client. I am an experienced and intuitive therapist that focuses on a cognitive behavioral approach. I embrace the Reboot health and wellness mission.
When not at work I enjoy gardening and day and weekend trips with my husband. I am a certified florist that is often creating floral arrangements. I sometimes incorporate my love of horticulture into the therapy session.
I am accepting clients ages 18 and older, individuals and couples. I am skilled at a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, change of life issues, grief, sexual id issues, care of older parent, grief, marital issues, Bipolar Disorder, family conflict, and relationship issues. Most insurances are accepted.
