Dr. Ryan Turnewitsch is both a Naturopathic and Functional Medicine physician who joined the integrative team of providers at REBOOT Functional Health Care in November 2021. He sees patients both in-person and virtually via telemedicine.
Dr. Turnewitsch received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) in 2019 from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA and completed his two-year residency at the Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic and Intermountain Healthcare’s St. Vincent Cancer Centers of Montana both in Billings, MT where he worked collaboratively with multiple providers in serving a broad array of patients. Prior to attending naturopathic medical school at Bastyr, Dr. Turnewitsch has an academic background in the biological sciences including broad laboratory research experience.
Dr. Turnewitsch is one of 2,400 practitioners worldwide who have achieved the Institute for Functional Medicine Practitioner Certification (IFMCP), currently the highest standard of training and certification within the field of functional medicine. He is also Board Certified in Biofeedback (BCB) through the BCIA, Biofeedback Certification International Alliance.

SIBO-Mastery Certification from Dr. Nirala Jacobi’s training program.
Naturopathic and Integrative Fertility advanced training from Dr. Jaclyn Chasse’s training program.
Dr. Turnewitsch’s residency included advanced training in Naturopathic Oncology, a specialized branch of naturopathic medicine focused on evidence-informed, safe, effective natural and supportive therapies used in combination with conventional treatments for integrative cancer care. He is in the process to become board certified in naturopathic oncology by the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology. Due to this training, Dr. Turnewitsch is able to provide these valuable adjunctive naturopathic oncology services to our patients both locally and remotely.
Dr. Turnewitsch’s training and skill sets allow him to see patients presenting with a broad array of concerns including gastrointestinal health concerns, cardiometabolic health concerns, hormonal health concerns, chronic infections, mold and mycotoxin illness, toxin related illness, oncology care, and complex chronic illness among others. He is adept at interpreting and working with specialty functional medicine testing / bloodwork and is able to help guide patients on an individualized healing journey back to whole-person health.
Dr. Turnewitsch is actively involved in his profession through participation with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP), the Virginia Association of Naturopathic Physicians (VAANP), and the North Carolina Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NCANP). He also enjoys serving his local community through community and health outreach programs done through his church. Outside of the office Dr. Turnewitsch is an outdoor enthusiast, avid hiker, nature photographer, golfer, reader, public speaker, and devoted Christian who is passionate about the intersection between spiritual, mental/emotional, and physical health.
