One of our goals is for you to walk away from therapy armed with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage you own mental health. This includes feeling equipped to manage challenges or even crises that may come your way in the future. To do so, we focus heavily on education + skill building during treatment.
A number of approaches are taken by our therapists during session. Techniques are always tailored to your needs. Most of our therapists were trained in an evidence-based technique that is proven to be quite effective in treating mood disorders + a number of other mental health concerns - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This technique ultimately helps you learn to recognize and improve flawed patterns of thinking that may no longer serve you.
