FAQs - Integrative Oncology by REBOOT

Who do you work with?

  • Patients with a current cancer diagnosis who are presently established with an oncologist. We do not, will not, and cannot independently manage any cancer diagnosis

  • Patients with a past cancer diagnosis who are interested in addressing side effects, heal their bodies after treatment, or improve their health to reduce risk of recurrence.

How do I prepare for a visit?

  • Cancer care is highly complex, and each case is different. Before your visit, we need to review your oncology records to provide you with the most appropriate care. Our front desk team will assist you in this when you schedule; however, you can help us by having access to the following documents from your last year of oncology care:

    • Recent oncology visit notes

    • Recent labwork results

    • Recent imaging results

    • Recent pathology results

    • Current medication list

    • Current supplement list

    • Current list of oncology care team providers

What should I expect during a visit?

We highly recommend scheduling TWO initial consultations to allow for a comprehensive integrative treatment plan. These can be scheduled same-day or same week.

  • The initial naturopathic oncology consultation will be a 60-90 minute visit to establish a foundational history of your cancer, history, treatments, care plan, and current presentation. Length and frequency of follow up visits will vary based on your needs + preference.

  • The initial TCM oncology consultation will be a 60 minute visit to establish a history and initiate side-effect management with acupuncture or other appropriate interventions. We then recommend weekly treatment sessions for maximum efficacy in addressing side effects.
